Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for driving marketing strategy and program execution within the retail channel consistent with Masco Cabinetry’s financial objectives (AOP, LRP, and SDP). Provides channel focused leadership to Product Development, Brand Marketing, Pricing, Promotions, and L&D teams as required.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and execute overall goals, vision and strategy for the retail channel
  • Champion opportunities to drive revenue, share, and profitability in all elements of our offering including: products, programs, services, training, and communication
  • Use appropriate tools, processes, and resources to support organization in understanding retail category cabinet sales trends (product/pricing/promotions)
  • Owner of all program and product launches from Gate 3 forward (thru and after launch)
  • Provide analytics to support the retail channel’s strategic direction and initiatives
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to define annual objectives for channel marketing
  • Lead development and execution of the integrated marketing plan for the channel, in conjunction with Sales and Marketing stakeholders (includes merchandizing, promotions, communication, and training)
  • Monitor Masco Cabinetry channel performance metrics and recommend corrective action where necessary
  • Provide regional business managers with timely and actionable data insights to better optimize territory, area, and region performance
  • Omni-Channel champion
  • Working in partnership with Sales, Product Development, and Brand Marketing to seek out relevant VOC
  • Develop a clear understanding of the competition and best practices relating to channel marketing and sales support
  • Utilize VOC to provide recommendations to drive category market share
  • Manage channel marketing budget to plan
  • Collaborate with Finance to build forecasting tools and models that support fact-based decision making
  • Responsible for continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends with the retail channel
  • Use various analysis (sales, competitive activity, demographics, etc.) to make recommendations on display assortments and merchandising
  • Develop business cases for display capital and other key Retail projects
  • Lead/Perform Line Review Analysis, Promotional Analysis and Planning, and other Ad-hoc reporting. Uses analysis to prepare presentation materials for key customer meetings
  • Work in partnership with the Learning & Development team to develop and execute plans for Sales Rep and Designer training for program enhancements (product launches, discontinuations, service etc…)
  • Lead and develop team of Channel Marketing managers
  • Support the use of Salesforce by uploading key reports and analysis

Qualification and Skills

  • Strong quantitative and research skills with proven ability to demonstrate data collecting, analyzing and interpretation capabilities
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to independently summarize key pieces of information to management
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and plan/prioritize responsibilities independently.
  • Must have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
