Job Description

2018 SUMMER SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT


We are seeking individuals interested in summer seasonal employment.


  • Positions will be for Summer Seasonal General Labor, including part-time for Vacation/Call-in fill-ins, Special Projects, etc. throughout the summer months on 1st and 3rd shift. The rate for Summer Help employees is $12.25 an hour.
  • Expectations of applicants:
    • Must be 18 or older and able to perform general labor functions
    • Must provide start and end date available for work
    • Must have excellent attendance
    • Must wear steel toed footwear
    • Must be able to work overtime
    • Must be flexible to work all shifts (no swing shifts)

      PRINCIPLE FUNCTION RESPONSIBLITIES:

      Must be able to understand instructions both, written or verbal and follow said instructions.

      Complete work with accuracy and efficiency

      Adhere to all facets of safety policies

      The nature of all production positions are repetitive motions for extended periods of time

      Moves and carries parts to holding areas

      Helps complete line set up

      Helps complete line set up

      Loads parts on production line

      Off-loads finished parts off line and palletizes

      Hand sanding

      Assembles cabinets and places them on the line

      Glues, nails, staples and secures all framed parts for tops, side, bottoms and supports cabinets

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

      Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, push and pulling

      Requires lifting, pushing and pulling 80 lbs. with 1 – 25 lb. average frequency

      Due to the physical demands of this job, it is essential that correct lifting techniques, proper body mechanics, as well as applicable safe work practices be utilized.
