PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Production workers must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions
•Complete work with accuracy and efficiency
•Construct cabinets in all different phases
•Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
•The nature of all production positions is repetitive motions for extended periods of time.

NOTE: This position requires the employee to sustain required quality levels through ongoing audits. Proficiency is defined as maintaining minimum audit scores of 88%.

NATURE OF DUTIES:
•Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
•Must be able to use the RS6000 and LINCS systems to enter audits and obtain Spec Sheets electronically.
•Will be required to know the metric system and have a working knowledge of a tape measure and calipers.
•Must be able to make quality decisions with little or no supervision.
•Responsible for quality of all parts in assigned areas.
•Perform incoming material audits as needed.
•Although usually assigned to specific areas of the plant, full plant knowledge is expected over time for ability to move wherever necessary.
•Travel required in support of Supplier On-site Program, at Plant 3, and possibly other locations.
•Attend training classes as needed, ex. Six Sigma Training.
•Train other employees and give training classes as needed, ex. AAA Training, Orientation.
•Maintain an organized working environment.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a good overall work record, including a good attendance record; and be self-motivated. Good communication skills and ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary. Demonstrates a commitment to safety at all times. Employees in this position are required to follow established safety rules and promote the overall safety and health program at Masco Cabinetry in the performance of their duties.
