Job Description


  • Weekly payroll duties include auditing and submitting wage and hour information for payroll processing.
  • Conduct post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy of pay.
  • Month and quarter end payroll reporting to Finance.
  • Lead contact for the Kronos application, custom reports, and integration/interfaces to and from WorkDay ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Administer Kronos training for local Human Resources to include training on utilizing the system to its full potential.
  • Research and resolve first-level system issues regarding various pay-related activities.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and manage security settings based on roles in Kronos.
  • Facilitate the unemployment process and coordinate hearings to mitigate company liability.
  • Reconcile invoices and submit monthly accruals for temporary staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS and Benefits team on leave administration, onboarding and off-boarding of employees.
  • Provide support to the Legal Team as needed.


  • Strong knowledge of Kronos or similar Time and Labor systems.
  • 2 years of Human Resources system experience including configuring and maintaining pay rules, work rules, and reconciling payroll.
  • Strong foundation in payroll fundamentals including compliance with state and federal laws as well as tax rules.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.


  • WorkDay experience.
  • American Payroll Association certification.
