Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager at our manufacturing facility in Mt Jackson, VA!

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for managing all Human Resources functions in our Mt Jackson, VA facility. Responsible for planning, setting, and directing local Human Resources functions (Staffing, Employee Relations, Safety, etc.) linked to the company’s business strategy and integrated with our corporate office. Supports the facilities with operational goals as it relates to Human Resources. Maintains a positive employee relations environment.


PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains overall Human Resources programs and assures compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and related employee-focused regulations.
  • Provides leadership and counsel to both management and associates with respect to policies and practices. Ensures consistent application of all employee-related practices.
  • Establishes positive employee relations through a variety of avenues including known best practices, employee involvement, and effective communication techniques.
  • Functions as a key member of the local management core team for the facility.
  • Develops initiatives and programs to foster a culture of engagement and flexibility to meet Masco Cabinetry’s business initiatives.
  • Investigates issues, concerns and develops a comprehensive report of facts, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Serves as an advocate to resolve issues and assist in the development of appropriate policies and practices with the support from Corporate Office.
  • Develops proactive employee relations and communications program within plant facilities.
  • Works closely with the Plant Manager and upper management in establishing and implementing relevant human resource policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Manages and leads health-related and safety-related programs and initiatives for the facility.
  • Maintains confidentiality of employee and business information.
