Job Description


Responsible for cultivating and maintaining business relationships with existing dealers, pro-dealer and alternate channels by providing programs and services, business solutions, new business development. Identifies high potential market share growth areas and liaises with sales team to drive incremental sales growth. Develops, implements and executes programs and promotions specific to the customer. Manages and develops a Sales Operations team focused on designer and sales support.


  • Cultivate and maintain business relationships with customers and potential customers in support of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Seek out and target new Customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans and strategies to secure new business.
  • Coordinate sales operations with other departments and work closely with Director of Sales and Area Managers to develop and target key accounts.
  • Research, analyze and monitor dealer’s business, sales trends, sales history, advertising/ marketing and make recommendations for increased sales.
  • Analyze and monitor sales against defined metrics, goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement and execute sales policies and practices in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Oversee the sales budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
  • Manage a sales operations staff focused on executing channel marketing, dealer and designer support and Account Manager tools.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or related field; or 8 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
  • 8 years of building relationships within the building material industry.
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
  • Proven negotiations skills.
  • Excellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.


  • Proven history of generating new business in the building materials industry.
  • Sales experience in cabinet industry.
