JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for collection and application of funds to dealer accounts and deduction management.

Builds relationships with customers, field sales, management, and customer care.


PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily collections for dealer accounts.

• Apply cash daily to appropriate accounts.

• Monitor credit limit levels and outstanding balances, including annual credit limit reviews to

minimize exposure.

• Review aging reports and recommend accounts for collections.

• Maintain business relationship with customers to understand customer requirements and

resolves issues.

• Liaise with customer care and field sales to gather information required for accurate billing

and timely collections.

• Validate legitimacy of deductions and initiate charge-backs where appropriate.

• Process credit requests received from field sales.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Associate’s degree; or 4 years finance, credit, collection, business consulting or related

experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.

• 4 years prior collection experience.

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with

cross-functional business teams.

• Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and

external customers.

• Demonstrated successful ability to input data with a high accuracy rating, and strong

attention to detail.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.

• Prior ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards).
