Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for an Associate Product Engineer at our corporate headquarters in Mt Sterling, KY!

Complete tasks supporting the development of cabinetry products. Leadership role in the implementation of projects at the plant level. Support other engineering projects as required.


  • Provide support to manufacturing operations including new product introductions and quality initiatives.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of cost optimization projects.
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement activities to achieve plant goals and objectives in accordance with the Masco Cabinetry Manufacturing Management Operating System (MOS) using DMAIC and Kaizen tools.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during product development and daily manufacturing.
  • Manage large and small scale manufacturing projects to include project timelines, capital requests and budget responsibility.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and coordinate team meetings.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3 years manufacturing and/or product engineering experience.
  • Excellent project management skills including leading cross-functional teams.
  • Manufacturing process and new product development experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Position may have multi-site responsibility.


  • CNC programming knowledge and/or experience.
  • Experience in Woodworking or the Furniture Industry.
  • Lean and 6 Sigma experience.
